Call for Projects: Cultural Collaborations between Flanders and Japan (2019-2020)

For the first time, a Call for Projects is being held within the framework of the Flemish Japanese cultural cooperation agreement. Artists or cultural organizations from Flanders that set up a collaboration in Japan or team up with a Japanese partner can apply for financial support for projects, partnerships and/or performances.
This call for projects aims to stimulate and support collaboration projects in the cultural scene at large (the arts, heritage and social-cultural activities). It especially focuses on bottom-up projects that contribute to the bilateral cultural cooperation between Flanders and Japan in a sustainable fashion.
The projects must either be developed by one Flemish partner and one partner in Japan or one Flemish partner who can prove that his/her project has sufficient Japanese content. This Call is especially, but not exclusively, meant for projects that are realized in Japan. The projects need to be executed before October 31, 2020.
The financial support for the projects that are withheld is limited to a maximum of 15,000 euros. The funding from this call for projects cannot exceed 50% of the total budget that is necessary to realize the project.
The application must be submitted by May 26, 2019 at the latest. The projects can start on July 1, 2019 at the earliest.

プロジェクト助成申請募集のお知らせ
この度、ベルギー・フランダースと日本の二国間交流事業として、文化交流プロジェクト助成申請募集を行います。日本において文化交流事業を行う、または日本のパートナーとの提携により文化事業を行うベルギー・フランダースを拠点とするアーティストまたはベルギー・フランダース文化機関はこのプロジェクト助成申請を行うことができます。
この文化交流プロジェクト助成申請募集では、あらゆる文化的事業（芸術・伝統・社会的文化活動等）での交流事業企画の促進と支援を目的としています。特に、ベルギー・フランダースと日本の二国間交流事業として持続可能な形で貢献しようとするプロジェクトに焦点を当てています。
プロジェクトはベルギー・フランダースのパートナーと日本のパートナーが協力する企画であること、または事業企画内容に十分な日本的コンテンツが含まれている必要があります。今回の募集は日本国内で実施される事業に限定はしません。
事業実施期間は2019年6月5日より2020年10月31日までに終了する事業となります。
1つのプロジェクトに対する助成金額の上限は15,000ユーロに制限され、助成金はプロジェクト実現に必要な総予算額の50％を超えることはできません。
申請書提出の締切りは2019年5月26日。企画が採用されればプロジェクトは
2019年7月1日より開始させることができます。
